White buildings and blue domes in Oia, overlooking the sea.
This architecture is probably the most photographed and featured of all of Santorini. When we asked a local about it, he told us that, at various times in Santorini's history, they were not allowed to fly the Greek flag. Instead the locals painted the buildings blue and white. True or not, it's a good story!
